So another peeve of mine is smelly people in the workplace, especially in high contact customer service jobs...no one likes getting help from someone who they can't stand to be near for more than a few minutes. In big retail stores there's almost always that one super stinky person that no one can stand being stuck in the lunchroom or receiving room with. It's really quite upsetting because no one likes to have to hold his or her breath while working. I don't understand how people can't tell that they have super bad b.o or natural body stink.. I mean it wouldn't be hard to realize that people are constantly scrunching up their faces for a reason when you're near. It’s hard though because how do you approach someone to discuss something like that when you’re not close with him/her? Hmm simply just an unpleasant situation all around.

I live with this nightmare most days; my manager at work doesn’t wear deodorant! Yes that’s right, my MANAGER! She’s only into “natural” and “organic” stuff right down to the toothpaste she uses (which, by the way, doesn’t work well either) and believes that if she wears deodorant she will get cancer. I am lucky enough to not sit very close to her but some girls that do say “it’s cruel she doesn’t wear it”. She’s a bigger lady too, and pregnant so she’s only going to get bigger and smellier. I wish I could sit down with her and tell her how we feel because it’s really gross and sickening to our tummies but I don’t know if I could handle a one-on-one with her that close! I really am not looking forward to summer; we are all hoping she takes an early maternity leave!
